Suitable for all levels, the workshop will be focused on creating this stunning Tiger’s Eye in coloured pencil.
We will start the workshop by covering the basics of coloured pencil to include pencil pressure, colour blends and graduated tones before progressing to the eye itself.
The subject allows us to explore a variety of techniques covering both the creation of smooth, reflective surfaces on the the eye itself and the soft fur texture over his face.
Tuition will be provided in a series of group demos and one-to-one support as required.
You will receive a step-by-step tutorial to take home with you so you are able to work at your own speed without any pressure to keep up the with group or complete the Tiger in the workshop.
All materials and equipment are supplied for use during the workshop and you will be able to take home your drawing, reference image and your tutorial.
We will be working with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils (a full pencil list is supplied in the tutorial) on Clairefontaine Pastelmat.
