Workshop is £TBC per person materials included
Times – 10.00am to 4.00pm
How can you achieve fur so realistic you can almost stroke the animal?
What kind of brush do you use to get lines so fine?
How do you get that 3D feel and depth?
How do you paint the hair and whiskers?
These are some of the questions Morgane gets all the time and although the answers are undeniably a lifetime of practice (which is up to you), workshops are a good opportunity to share a bit of her knowledge and show you some tips and shortcuts.
So if you would like to learn the secrets for a breathtaking hyper realistic rendering of fur in acrylic this one is for you!
With an easy step by step demonstration, you will discover how to map the direction of the hair before building layers with a small brush and glazing to get the perfect colour and texture, plus all the final touches.
This workshop is suitable for all levels and the basic principles and techniques covered during the class can be applied to many other subjects. The handout of the class will be sent by email. Students willing to broaden their knowledge can also take the following “Painting Fur in Acrylic – Advanced Techniques” workshop.
All material is provided (and you keep your brushes at the end of the workshop); just bring an apron or a smock to protect your clothes.
