Festival International Art Nature

We journeyed down to Ainay Le Vieil for the 2017 exhibition. Each year themes are chosen with in the overall theme of nature, this year was horses and wide open spaces.
We took art work from 7 of our artists, Oil, acrylic, pencil, prints, cards and of course sculptures a good selection of talent. There was a lot of interest in the work we displayed and the exhibition.
We were invited to choose three artists that were exhibiting at the exhibition to come to our exhibition in 2018; we are looking forward to welcoming these artists and their work which is stunning and different.
The exhibition is run differently and is more an exhibition than a place to sell art; however that did not stop people buying. The artists were extremely friendly and welcoming, we caused a few laughs with our poor French, we are both working hard at improving it for next year.

Next years themes water and fire.

The Festival of Nature Art – France visited in 2016

This was an excellent exhibition in a lovely setting, it was more like an art market than a pure exhibition, artists were available to chat.  The exhibits were put on slatted wooden display stands, provided by the organisers.  The ones in the marquees were on hard floors.  Outdoors were sculptures in wood and metal.  A food tent and bar as well as the Chateau’s own cafe, as you would expect good food.

This is the link to the website which is in French, but Google has a great translate facility.
