About Martin Rumary
Born in London, Martin moved with his parents to the Mendip Hills in Somerset at the age of seven and in such a rural environment he developed a very keen interest in the local wildlife especially birds.
He mainly paints British Birds in their natural surroundings, from observations and sketches done in the field or in his studio.
After trying oils, then gouache, he now works exclusively in acrylics on board.
He has exhibited and sold widely in galleries and societies such as The Wildlife Art Society, the Exhibition of Wildlife Art, the David Shepherd Foundation, Marwell Wildlife Art Society and, of course, Southern Nature Art.
All pictures are in acrylics, sizes are image size.
