Julie Weir
Julie Weir is a Wildlife & Natural History artist who loves exploring nature. In 2017, she decided to leave the rat race and move onto a barge cruising around the canals and rivers of the UK pursuing her passion for painting outdoors.
“Life on the water is amazing and it has inspired my painting style”. It has been a privilege to paint nature in all its glory, and I love creating in many mediums including Acrylic Inks and Watercolours. This has given me the freedom and flexibility to create a variety of work from Stormy Seascapes to delicate flowers and birds.
“Ever since I first picked up a paintbrush I knew that I wanted to teach others, so I now run in-person art workshops in Chichester, Salisbury and Devizes. I have also created an Online Watercolour course to give you step by step video tutorials on how to paint wildlife and nature.”
