Jamie Sinclair

Jamie Sinclair is a self taught artist who has been airbrushing for 20 years and drawing for many more. Jamie is a versatile artist who paints wildlife, portraits, fantasy and figurative work. He is fascinated with trying to capture character and reflect this in his work. This has led to his work being very detailed and can spend 50 to 100 hours on a single painting. He has previously been predominantly using an airbrush for his artwork but in recent years he has been experimenting and working in Oil paint and in some cases combining the two to maximise the strengths of each application. 

He exhibits regularly at Southern Nature and Art Exhibition where he is also chairman. His work has been awarded best painting without glass, by the Bursledon Art Society Exhibition 2019 and 2022. Won best painting as voted by the public at the Southern Nature Art Exhibition 2021, Won best painting at the Portsmouth and Hants annual exhibition 2022 and won highly commended at the Titchfield annual exhibition 2021.
