Linoprinting Workshop with Aylsa Williams

Information for 1-day beginner to intermediate linoprinting workshop:

Wednesday 27th August 2025. Rookesbury Park.

This workshop is designed for people interested in learning to linoprint or who wish to develop or practice their linoprinting. Aylsa Williams is an artist printmakers and exhibits regularly in Southampton and beyond with a passion for sharing her linoprinting knowledge.

Aylsa will guide you through designing a lino-block which can be based on your own sketches or ideas. Carving and mark making to make the most of your image, and importantly how to ink and print your lino to give the best results. If you have inspiration for your own linoblock (good but not essential) I would love to see them. We will be working on A5 blocks. All materials are included, please bring an apron or wear old clothes as the inks can stain clothing.
