Wendy Hunt

Painter and Sculptor

Wendy grew up in the south of England where she spent many hours of her formative years exploring the shores of the Solent, thus furthering her early love of nature and wildlife.

Wendy is that rare combination of both painter and sculptor, using a variety of media to create highly detailed original art works.

She has exhibited at Christies, London, as part of an international sale raising funds for the World Wildlife Fund.

Her paintings have been purchased by The Medici Society and Royale Publications. Wendy’s sculpture ‘Hares in Snow’ was sold at Christies, London, in their 2007 ‘Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs’ auction and ‘Ghost Hunter’ was also sold at Bonhams, Edinburgh, in their 2012 ‘Sporting’ auction

Wendy’s work is exhibited in galleries in Hampshire, York and London.

Her work has been in galleries throughout the United Kingdom as well as being held in private collections, both nationally and internationally. Wendy exhibits regularly at the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art, Liverpool, and was a committee member for the Marwell International Wildlife Art Society, Wendy has also exhibited at the Society of Women Artists, London and has regularly exhibited and sold at the Royal Society of Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers exhibition in the Mall Galleries, London.

She has also regularly been artist in residence at Nature in Art, Gloucester.
